To have proper discrimination is the goal to obtain a proper use of our senses, mind and intelligence. And with it to live a happy and successful life.
Our body is a vehicle and life is journey, and you have to move on a path. You can move on a path of envy, jealousy, hatred, for that you need the fuel of envy, jealousy, and hatred. Gossiping is good for creating that fuel. But these highways have a lot of bumps and your life will be rickety-rackety with a lot of jerks – so many jerks that you may become yourself a jerk. If you want to move on a highway that is smooth with no bumps, that is the path of Bhakti.
