Pride is an outcome of offense. Pride makes you insult or exploit others or trample on others rights. Krishna does not like that. If you want to be with Krishna, then you have to please Him. He does not like that we exploit, cheat, or trouble others. The more you advance on the path of Bhakti, the more humble you become.
